On May 5, Executive Director Semone Thomas had the opportunity to meet with U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin during a Community Happy Hour event held at The Lakely in Eau Claire.
The event brought together community leaders, organizations, and advocates to discuss issues impacting local communities across the Chippewa Valley, including housing stability, family support services, and community partnerships.
Conversations like these help keep family homelessness, shelter needs, and housing stability visible in community and policy discussions.
Family Promise of the Chippewa Valley values opportunities to connect with leaders and policymakers to help elevate the voices and experiences of families facing housing instability.
