As of early June, Family Promise of the Chippewa Valley – Beacon House has already supported over 30 families, including 92 children, on their path to stability and self-sufficiency. Achieving this impact in just the first five months of the year reflects both the urgent need in our community and the strength of our wraparound support services.

Through a combination of emergency shelter, diversion, and stabilization programs, families experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity are finding not only safety—but a path forward.

Each number tells a story:
A child with a safe place to sleep.
A parent regaining stability.
A family no longer facing homelessness.

“When we say we walk alongside families, we mean it. These numbers represent real lives—children finding safe places to sleep, parents finding support, and families beginning again with a sense of possibility,” Semone Thomas - Executive Director.

This work is made possible by the continued generosity of our community—through donations, partnerships, and the invaluable time of our volunteers. Together, we’re not just offering shelter. We’re restoring hope.

We remain committed to our mission to end family homelessness in the Chippewa Valley, one family—and one child—at a time.
